ABOUT SING MERAKI
'Meraki (pronunciation: merak-kee) is a Greek adjective that describes doing something with soul, creativity, love and passion'
~ it is something we strive to do in abundance.
Sing Meraki brings people together to sing in circle and explore their beautiful, unique, non autotuned, Natural Voice in all its glory. Come and join our warm, friendly, fun, community to learn beautiful harmony by ear; Where everyone is welcome equally, exactly as you are.
As a Natural voice practitioner, I deeply believe that singing is for everyone however you choose to do it. Singing has long bonded communities in celebration, grief and ritual for hundreds if not thousands of years. However, with our ‘modern’ ways of life and the way we meet and communicate, these birthrites are being lost generation at a time.
The benefits of singing for health, for wellbeing and for bonding are becoming far more widely understood, as are the benefits of singing for improved mental health for everyone.
