'Meraki (pronunciation: merak-kee) is a Greek adjective that describes doing something with soul, creativity, love and passion'

~ it is something we strive to do in abundance.

I’m Lu, song sharer, creative, mama, and nature lover, working across the UK and Ireland.  Through Sing Meraki, I create gentle, welcoming spaces where people can explore their beautiful, unique, non‑autotuned, natural voices; reconnect with themselves; and experience the grounding joy of singing. Our warm, friendly communities learn harmony by ear, celebrating the simple truth that everyone is welcome exactly as you are.

My work blends wellbeing, harmony, breath, and the restorative presence of nature. As a Forest School Leader, I’m passionate about nurturing connection to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world. Whether we’re singing indoors, in community spaces, or out among the trees, my approach is always heart‑led, professional, and rooted in care.

As a Natural Voice practitioner, I deeply believe that singing is for everyone, however you choose to do it. For hundreds — if not thousands — of years, singing has bonded communities in celebration, grief, and ritual. Yet in our modern ways of living, these birthrights are being lost, one generation at a time. The benefits of singing for health, wellbeing, and mental health are now widely supported by growing research, reaffirming what humans have always known: singing is good for us.

Singing has been my anchor through motherhood and life’s many seasons. Now I share that practice with others, offering sessions that feel safe, soulful, and deeply supportive.

I’m also delighted to be part of the wonderful Singing Mamas network of Community Leaders, delivering sessions that support new mothers and women of all ages — building community and wellbeing through song. More about these sessions can be found here.
